More Flowers

   Flowers are just so easy to take pictures of. You really can't do anything wrong when editing . . . I think anyway. Oh and sorry about not posting anything for the last couple of days. First it was late night packing then it was long long late night traveling. So here are 3 pics to make up for the days I missed and tonight. =)

Water

   Because I am surrounded by water 24/7 I thought a water picture would be the right thing to post. This is also an old picture taken of rain droplets on a tent. =)

Chicago!!

   So there are two pictures to make up for last night. I must say if you are ever in Chicago "The Bean" is a must see attraction. It is one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my life!!

Something Different

  So tonight I wanted to do something a little different. I was bored in my hotel room her in Alabama and decided to make a sort of collage. So yup that's how this came about =) there are some problems but whatever I'm learning. And I know it doesn't look that hard to do but it took a while to do. The image size is 15"x18" I hope to fix it up and print it someday

Holga Lens

So i have a little lens that was very cheap on Amazon and it is a Holga lens for digital cameras. Holga cameras are plastic cameras that have things like vignettes and light leaks and are film. I loved playing with my Holga in one of my classes and I was excited when I found this lens cheap on Amazon. The best part about Holga is you can't control much at all. So I didn't edit the pictures that I am putting up to show the effect the lens had.

4th of July!!

I don't know any person who doesn't like or love the 4th of July. I thought because the weather is kind of getting warmer I would put up some pictures of my favorite part of summer!! There is nothing i don't like about the 4th of July. You get to have BBQ's, relax, if at home make ice cream, and best of all light objects that go BOOM and make pretty colors!!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!!! And while you are doing these activities you get to be in a tank top and shorts while it's night out haha so much fun. So here they are from last years Boise firework show. 

Oh and Jenny and I came up with a great spot to sit. We parked my car in the BSU parking lot put a blanket on top of my cars roof and sat up there. No trees were in our way, no people in our way, and best of all because we weren't right under the fireworks (like last year) we didn't get debris from the explosions in our eyes. Yay us haha

Red Shoes

I keep posting after midnight but it still counts!!! I didn't know what I wanted to post so I looked through some old old pictures. . . this is from sophomore year. Just a picture I took of Jenny's well used Converses that i edited up.

Paparazzi

So I had to go out and take some pictures of the city basically (Man altered landscapes). Being the great friend Jenny is she came along to keep me company and act excited when I showed her pictures haha. She really is a true friend. Well, I couldn't have all work and no play so I played paparazzi for  a little bit. I really liked this portrait of her. She has both of her necessities in her hands, coffee and her cell phone. I don't know why but I am proud of this picture of her. 

It reminds me of a celebrity photo that you would see in a magazine. One of those pictures that shows they are just everyday average ole people.

This little guy is a stray cat that hangs out in our neighborhood. He is one of the sweetest cats I have every come across. He is a lot like my cat Leo in the way that he loves everyone and will let anyone pet him. 

 
One feature that I love about him (other than his calmness) is his eyes. Man are the gorgeous. If i didn't already have two cats I would adopt him and his sister. I think it's his sister anyway. They are the same size, resemble each other, and are often found together. 

Oops

Yup 3 days in and I already missed a day. So i have decided to double up today and I'm posting 2 pics =) 

Pic number 1: Jenny's sister the beautiful bride of the first wedding that I have taken pictures at. This is one of the dress pictures that I took. This moment is just minutes before she was married. 

 

Pic number 2: This is a picture that I took in my backyard last summer. The storm was amazing when it first started i was fishing at the lake with Jenny. We parked and got to see the most amazing storm. It happened right in front of us over the lake. I didn't have my camera but there was so much lightning that Jenny was able to get a picture on her phone. The storm laster long enough that we were able to drive all the way home and I took some pictures from my backyard. The rain was my favorite kind of rain. The kind that drenches you and the droplets are HUGE!!!! I will always remember that storm =)

Going Strong

Well it is day number two and so far I'm sticking to my new project. These pictures I have picked are pictures that have already been edited but no fancy editing. One of these nights I'm actually going to work on a picture and do "fun" things to it before I post it. I have some photoshop magazines that have cool ideas that I could try on some pictures. I will probably end up doing that sometime soon. . . maybe even tomorrow. 
This picture is actually my background on my computer and I really like it. I took it at a wedding last summer. It is of the arrangement of glasses set up before the drinks were poured for the toasts. It's one of my more. . . elegant pictures. . . if i had to choose a word. Hope you like it as much as I do.  =)

So here is the first picture. It comes from my spring vacation last year in Moab. The Moose and Bear are Mommoo Moose and Poppy Bear. They were given to me to represent my mom and dad at NCAA's last year. I took pictures of them everywhere i went in Moab. This was at Sandy Arch or something like that i may have made that name up haha 

So LAZY!!!

   So I have decided I am a very lazy person. I have taken SO many pictures and i literally have thousands and thousands on my computer but i never put them on my blog. I will play with them and edit them but for some reason i always forget to put them on my blog or I'm too lazy to write something that goes with the picture. Sitting her at school I have come up with an idea. My inspirations comes from Jenny. She started a project back in like October. What she does every night is she will sit and doodle a picture on a note card then date it and sign it. This all started with a doodle of Leo that was a joke and then we put it on my wall. She started doing more doodles because my wall looked empty and it was a way to decorate. After a while it looked really cool but she was running out of space on my wall. We went to Wal-mart and got a huge 3 ring binder with paper that has slots for photos. We put all the note card doodles in the binder by date. Now she makes sure to draw a new doodle every night. Well I am kind of taking her idea and I'm going to try to apply it to my blog and pictures. I am going to add a new picture every night, with or without words. If i feel like writing then I will write something that goes along with it but probably most of the time i will just post pictures. That's really what my blog is for anyway not to write much on. So Hopefully tonight the picture post will begin!! =) Before I do all that i have to go to practice and try to get back in shape for NCAA's. Don't want to making an embarrassment of myself in a couple weeks now do I haha.
