The Barn
My Aunt wanted a picture of this barn. I speedily went and took pictures of it but I was such a lazy bum when it came to editing them. I was supposed to have them ready for her at Thanksgiving but things were a bit hectic. Soon after I moved to Utah and finally after getting all moved in I sat down to edit them. I hadn't done anything photography related for so long it was so nice get lost in it again. Well I got the editing done and still did nothing with them. I have decided to put them on here that way even though no one will see them I will have done something with them. Hopefully soon I will start working on some portraits and doing shoots with people.

Hunting
I think I now know what kind of shooting I am better at. Although hunting is fun and I love it, as I sit there waiting for animals to come to me all I can think about are the possible pictures I could be taking. I would seriously love to just travel and stop wherever I feel like I want to spend some time. The whole trip just documenting with my camera all the beauty that I see before me. I have a long way to go before my skills get better and I have so much to learn about taking pictures of the night sky. The best way for me to learn though is to read a little bit to get an idea but mostly to try different techniques out for myself. Here are some pictures from the last couple weekends when I had down time and camera on hand.

2015
Well I guess I will try this again. I don't know what it is about not keeping up with projects that I start, I just struggle to stay motivated. I think my longest streak of writing in my journal was maybe 5 days. I started a 365 day photo challenge in January that I only made through the third week. That one wasn't quite the same since I had other reasons for not wanting to continue that. It was stressing me out more than making me happy. So back to the blog I go :)
I have recently been taking pictures of families and newish born babies. Although I am not very great with communicating with people I have enjoyed these past opportunities, and from what I hear they liked their pictures. I did do my own family pictures back at Thanksgiving and those turned out really good I think.
The whole family
Parents and "kids" all grown up
Kids and spouses
Sons |
Daughters |
Crazy grand kids and all their different personalities
I love these two so much!

New Areas
I decided to try something a little different this week. I took some nature pictures and created products I don't have much experience with. I Created a collage of Daisy's for my sister, combined a picture I like with a quote I love, and then created a little reminder card for member missionary work. We had the Sister missionaries over for dinner tonight and they shared this list with us. I had heard it before but this was the first time I felt impressed to turn it into something that means more to me. Now I can keep it in my wallet as a daily reminder.

Oops
I have totally been slacking!! I haven't really been taking pictures at all lately. It is really sad when I think about how much I enjoy it. I don't think anyone even looks at this blog anymore so I guess I will just do this mostly for myself. If you do happen to look at this blog please follow or comment anytime so I now you are out there :) I am always open to suggestions and critiques so I can grow and know what other people like. Until that happens I am going to just post pictures of what I like and try to get myself back on the horse. Here's to the future and new beginnings!!!
Well actually why not start right now. These are pictures that I took of some dandelions in my grandmother's field. I absolutely love when they become white and fluffy!! Oh, if you ever want a picture that I have posted just comment, don't steal, and I am sure we can figure something out :) Thank you and I hope you enjoy.
